eBaying!

I'm supposed to be working, and I am working, I'm not a huge slacker, but I've got loads of amazing eBay finds that are all going to end this afternoon so I keep flicking between my work and my eBay page. I hope nobody's noticed!

I'm watching an amazing pair of Vivienne Westwood shoes which are hopefully going to go for really cheap because they're second hand and last season, and so far nobody's tried to outbid me! I'm not silly though, I'm going to have my eye on them right up until the final seconds just in case someone tries to get in there and nab them!

I've also found some really cute dresses that'll be good for winter with thick tights or leggings and boots. I like the look of a couple of coats as well, but it's hard to choose a coat without trying it on or really seeing it in person! What to do!

Animal Love

I love animals, I always have since I was really young. They've always fascinated me and I hate seeing all the sad animal charity adverts on tv, they're so heartbreaking

Sometimes I feel like I'm doing the wrong thing and should just give up the job I'm doing now and look for animal sanctuary or farm jobs instead, and just work with animals all day. My dream is to work hard and earn lots of money in my current career for a number of years, and then move out to the sticks and open my own rescue centre.

I'd love to look after chickens rescued from battery farms, rescued dairy cows, pigs, turkeys, sheep, any rescued slaughterhouse animals, any farm animals, cats, dogs, anything and everything! All welcome!

Hopefully one day I can do it, I feel like my life would be complete!

Making one item into all the Summer trends!

There are loads of fashion trends this summer - from colour blocking to boho and 70's fashion.

However, unless you are a top movie star or a supermodel then how are you to afford everything? Fashion changes everyday and to keep up you need a bottomless purse!

So one of my key tips is getting a staple trend for cheaper. For example take these Gio Goi jean trousers:

Now these are on sale at the moment for £30 instead of £60. So already you have saved yourself £30!

Next, these trouseurs can become a number of the trends that are in the fashion magazines at the moment. For example team with a white boob tube top, galdiator sandals and a brown wooden necklace for a boho look.

For colour blocking put with a purple top and orange heels. And lastly for 70's fashion put with a floaty off the shoulders top and some killer wedges. Also team with some white sunglasses! Perfect!

Green Saves Money

Menstruation is an almost life-long phenomenon that women have to deal with. This also means that we always need to be stocked up with pads or tampons. Believe it or not, the millions of disposed tampons and pads put pressure on our natural resources €“ something that we might just be able to avoid.
Menstrual cups are a new innovation that seem quite promising in this regard. They're these flexible little things that can be worn for much longer than pads and are way more clean and comfortable -- at least as far as what the initial surveys tell.
They also have the following advantages:
1. Reusable for up to 10 years. Imagine the kind of money they could save. Also imagine the kind of reduction in demand they can bring about if all of us started using those instead of pads
2. If you don't like the idea of reusing a cup, you get disposable ones too, which are still a much better choice than regular pads as they do not cause excessive dryness and can hold way more fluid than pads or tampons can
Looks like being green doesn't always have to be more expensive, right?

Shopping Online Saves Money

Yeah, I know that many women dread the idea of using a computer in their personal lives. But hey, if it can help you buy amazing things and save money, wouldn't you want to give it a try?
For example, I wanted to buy myself a copy of The Bridget Jones's Diary -- believe it or not, I haven't read it yet! -- and I thought I'd just look it up online. To my amazing surprise, I could actually buy a brand new copy for £5 and have it delivered for free!
This isn't true just for books. I am now planning to buy some electronic stuff for my son and a nice gift for my husband -- of course, I'm not going to reveal that gift here.
I never knew online stores have such crazy discounts! I remember buying a hypo-allergenic shaver for myself a few months ago for over £40, which I now see is available online for as low as £30!
In fact, my surprise at this was one of the reasons why I decided to become a regular blogger too. This way, I can share my experiences with a number of other people out there and perhaps help them save some money in the process.
